THE TREES ARE THE ARTISTS

Every piece of Tree Art begins with a tree.

Long before I touch the wood, the tree has already been creating. Year after year, it responds to the seasons, the weather, the soil and the landscape around it. Its life is written into the wood — in its grain, colour, markings and form.

I don't create those things. The tree does.

My role is to work slowly with the wood, using traditional craft to reveal what is already there.

Each piece becomes a collaboration between tree, time and maker — a small expression of the life of an individual tree, transformed into something you can wear.

The tree is the artist. I simply help reveal its art.
